It was menage a trios night on DANCING WITH THE STARS with the couples performing two dances, one with their partner and another with an additional pro dancer. Nobody rocked the house, though, like Melissa Rycroft & Tony Dovolani who received two perfect 30s, bringing their total score – adding in last week’s scores – to a 99 out of 100 possible. DWTS trios added to the competition made for some exciting pairings, some obvious ones and some interesting results, case in point – Shawn Johnson & Derek Hough. They scored well with their solo getting a 29.5 but then when they brought in Mark Ballas for their trio number Len Goodman lambasted them for not really doing a Samba. He gave them a seven, which dropped their score to a 26 out of 30. Goodman even chewed out Hough & Ballas, saying that if Johnson goes home tomorrow night it will be all their fault, ouch! Still, Johnson is in second place with 93.5.

In a tie for third are Kelly Monaco & Val Chmerkovskiy and Emmitt Smith & Cheryl Burke. Each couple ended the night with 92.5. Gilles Marini & Peta Murgatroyd are a half point behind them with 92. And then Apolo Anton Ohno & Karina Smirnoff are another half a point behind Marini & Murgatroyd with 91.5 Kirstie Alley & Maks Chmerkovskiy are in last with 79. Only the fans can save Alley now…with 20 points behind the leader it will be a miracle it she is not one of the two kicked off tomorrow night. But, stranger things have happened!
