Clark Gregg as Agent Coulson in AGENTS OF SHIELD | (c) 2013 ABC/Justin Lubin

MARVEL’S AGENTS OF SHIELD, ABC Tuesday nights at 8 PM, deals with the team of non-superpowered folks who assist, investigate and otherwise deal with things pertaining to superheroes in the universe of THE AVENGERS. The series, created by Joss Whedon, Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen, brings back Agent Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg), somehow resurrected – we don’t know quite how yet, but it’s clear Coulson himself has been misled – after his death in AVENGERS as the team leader. Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen) is the most experienced agent after Coulson, Ward (Brett Dalton) is muscle, Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) and […]Read On »

Simmons (Elizabeth Hensttridge) finds herself in danger in MARVEL'S AGENTS OF SHIELD | (c) 2013 ABC/Justin Lubin

Cast: Clark Gregg, Ming-Na wen, Brett Dalton, Chloe Bennet, Elizabeth Henstridge, Iain De Caestecker Writer: Paul Zbyszewski Director: Vincent Misiano Network: Airs on ABC Tuesdays @ 8 p.m. Original Telecast: Nov. 5, 2013 Was I the only one cheering for Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) to actually take the long kiss goodbye on MARVEL’S AGENTS OF SHIELD? Don’t get me wrong, I would have rather had Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) go because well, I’m a dude and all so I naturally would prefer watching the hot female. However, both characters have been really annoying and easily replaceable as the Q of the […]Read On »

August Richards Writer: Brent Fletcher Director: Jesse Bochco Network: Airs on ABC, Tuesdays @ 8 p.m. Original Telecast: Oct. 22, 2013 Now this is what we have been waiting for from MARVEL’S AGENTS OF SHIELD. A dude with a nasty fire power, secrets, revelations, a deeper subplot into the anti-SHIELD organization known as Centipede all wrapped in a pretty good episode called “Girl in the Flower Dress.” The girl happens to be a nasty piece of work that’s all pretty on […]Read On »

Unfortunately, “Eye-Spy” didn’t do the show many favors in terms of going up after a pretty decent episode last week. The episode centered on a former Shield agent that was trained by Coulson (Clark Gregg) who for […]Read On »

August Richards Writer: Jed Whedon, Maurissa Tancharoen Director: Milan Cheylov Network: Airs on ABC, Tuesdays @ 8 p.m. Original Telecast: Oct. 8, 2013 The third episode of MARVEL’S AGENTS OF SHIELD was all about Skye (Chloe Bennet) and her contribution to a team of trained professionals with all a certain skill set. August Richards Writer: Jeffery Bell, Jed Whedon, Maurissa Tancharoen Director: David Straiton Network: Airs on ABC, Tuesdays @ 8 p.m. Original Telecast: Oct. 1, 2013 The second episode of MARVEL’S AGENTS OF SHIELD was a bit of a disappointment. After a really good opening episode full of interesting subplots and witty banter, this played out more like a straight laced action black ops mission – something that we’d see on numerous other shows on numerous other networks. I was aware that […]Read On »
