IFC’s BROCKMIRE premieres its fourth and final season on Wednesday, March 18. The dark comedy about sometimes out of control baseball play-by-play announcer Jim Brockmire, played by Hank Azaria, jumps ten years into the future. The once-disgraced main character becomes the baseball commissioner. Amanda Peet plays Jules James, owner of the small Florida team the Morristown Frackers and Brockmire’s occasional lover. Azaria originated the character of Brockmire on a 2010 episode of the Web series FUNNY OR DIE, in which Brockmire has an on-air nervous breakdown after learning that his wife has been having an affair. In Netflix’s new animated series DISENCHANTMENT, tough Princess Bean (voiced by Abbi Jacobson) goes on a quest with optimistic elf Elfo (voiced by Nat Faxon) and personal demon Luci (voiced by Eric Andre). Joe Mantegna was honored with the 2,438th Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on April 29th in the Category of Live Theater. His star will be right next to his favorite actor Errol Flynn and is located in front of Skooby’s at 6654 Hollywood Boulevard. The event started with Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, President/CEO Leron Gubler talking about Mantegna and his career in theater, besides the many movies and TV shows he has appeared in.
