In NBC’s new Wednesday-night series REVERIE, premiering May 30, Sendhil Ramamurthy’s character Paul Hammond has created a virtual reality application that allows users to develop their own perfect worlds. The problem is that some users find it so fulfilling that they refuse to leave virtual reality, which puts their flesh-and-blood bodies at risk.
