In ABC’s Wednesday-night comedy SPEECHLESS, Kyla Kenedy plays Dylan DiMeo. Dylan is the athletic sole girl in a family that also includes high school students Ray (Mason Cook) and JJ (Micah Fowler). JJ has cerebral palsy, which means that he gets a lot more attention from mom Maya (Minnie Driver) than his siblings; dad Jimmy (John Ross Bowie) mostly tries to keep the peace. Before you say it, yes, we already know that MARVEL’S AGENT CARTER was sort of a spinoff from the current ongoing series on ABC AGENT OF SHIELD. However, according to The Hollywood Reporter, another spinoff may be in the works that both Marvel and ABC have signed off on based on current plotlines happening on AOS in its second season. Kenya Barris created the new ABC comedy BLACK-ISH, Wednesdays at 9:30 PM, with an eye to putting something like his own family life on television. BLACK-ISH stars Barris’ fellow executive producers Anthony Anderson and Laurence Fishburne.  Anderson plays Andre “Dre” Johnson, a successful, self-made man with a wife and three children, plus an opinionated father, portrayed by Fishburne. Dre is trying to balance wanting his children to grow up with a sense of racial inclusiveness while still maintaining their cultural roots.
