In MTV’s new Tuesday night drama FINDING CARTER, the Wilson family has undergone two huge jolts. One was twelve years ago, when then-three-year-old daughter Lyndon was kidnapped. The other is in the present, when Lyndon, who has reached the age of fifteen in the identity of Carter Stevens (Kathryn Prescott), is returned to her actual parents, sister and brother. On July 29th a big party was held by CBS/The CW/Showtime for the Television Critics Annual Summer Press Tour at The Event, which is actually the upper parking lot where the department store Robinson’s/May in Beverly Hills used to be. Taking pictures before heading inside it was quite a turnout of stars from the three networks of their new shows and returning shows of the three networks CBS, The CW and Showtime. I probably missed a few as I went in as soon as the cast from the CW new show THE ORIGINALS, a spin-off from THE VAMPIRE DAIRIES walked […]Read On »

Cobie Smulders has long been hailed for her comedic prowess as Robin Sherbatsky on HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, now gearing up for its eighth season on CBS. However, with writer/director Joss Whedon’s box-office superhero THE AVENGERS from Disney and Marvel, Smulders shows off her action star side as S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Maria Hill, running, sliding and shooting with the best of them. There are big differences in doing a weekly TV comedy series and a giant studio action feature film, Smulders notes. “It’s definitely a shift in schedule,” says Smulders. “I made it a point to do a lot of […]Read On »
