Kevin Williamson, who created the SCREAM franchise, DAWSON’S CREEK and THE FOLLOWING, as well as adapting THE VAMPIRE DIARIES for TV, has now brought forth STALKER. The new CBS series, Wednesdays at 10 PM, follows LAPD’s Threat Assessment Unit (based on the real LAPD Threat Management Unit), particularly Detective Beth Davis, played by Maggie Q, and her new partner Jack Larsen, portrayed by Dylan McDermott. On July 29th a big party was held by CBS/The CW/Showtime for the Television Critics Annual Summer Press Tour at The Event, which is actually the upper parking lot where the department store Robinson’s/May in Beverly Hills used to be.
