TCA News: CBS on TWO AND A HALF MEN move to Thursday nights after THE BIG BANG THEORY

After being one of the anchors on Monday nights for nine seasons, the CBS sitcom TWO AND A HALF MEN is moving to Thursdays at 8:30 after THE BIG BANG THEORY this fall. The series, which stars Jon Cryer and Angus T. It’s rare for a series to be created by one network and then set up at another, but that’s what happened with the new comedy series THE MINDY PROJECT from THE OFFICE actor-writer-producer Mindy Kaling. The series almost made the cut on the Peacock Network schedule, but when it was passed on, it was instantly set up at Fox for a fall birth.
