Stars: Simon Cowell, L.A. Reid, Britney Spears, Demi Lovato Network: Fox, airs Wednesdays and Thursdays Original Telecast: September 12, 2012 Well, here’s a big surprise – THE X FACTOR Season 2 is actually pretty damn good. In fact, it’s the show THE X FACTOR should have been in Season 1. TEEN MOM logo | ©2011 MTV

Of course, the big news this week is that I’m knocked up. Yes, The Dork Side is going to have a spawn. I blame MTV’s TEEN MOM. They make it all look so glamorous. I do not foresee this whole pregnancy thing affecting The Dork Side. Maybe I’m wrong. Perhaps a year from now this column will be all about YO GABBA GABBA and SESAME STREET. In the meantime, it’s time to let the snark out of her cage: * I guess there is no such thing as bad publicity. Singer-turned-violent-douchebag Chris Brown’s album debuted at No. 1 on the […]Read On »

TV Review: GLEE – SEASON TWO – “Britney/Brittany”

Britney Spears and Heather Morris in GLEE - Season 2 - "Britney/Brittany" | ©2010 Fox/Adam Rose

Consider this the Madonna episode without the really cool music. GLEE tackles Britney Spears, but what’s immediately evident is her imprint on pop culture is more about fashion and style, rather than substance. It’s a debate raged in this episode “Britney/Brittany.” Mr. Schuester (Matthew Morrison) hates Spears and what she stands for, as do other students, but some of them want to express their inner Britney.
