20TH Century Fox held the Los Angeles Premiere of RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES on July 28th at the Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood. Fans lined the street, which was not closed off. Producers Jack Rapke and Steve Starkey have worked with Robert Zemeckis for a very long time, and they’ve seen how that director as pioneered the art of “performance capture” films from POLAR EXPRESS, BEOWULF and A CHRISTMAS CAROL.
