MARVEL’S AGENTS OF SHIELD is now in its seventh and final season, Wednesday nights on ABC. The series seemed to have wrapped up conclusively at the end of Season 5, then got renewed for two more seasons. The result was that AGENTS OF SHIELD Seasons 6 and 7 were produced almost back to back, so that production on the show actually ended last summer, even though we’re only getting the ultimate run now. The brass wants Hollister busted back down as quickly as possible. Fortunately for Hollister, once he’s sheriff, he gets as his aide Deputy Brianna Bishop, played by Bex Taylor-Klaus. The series, a spinoff of THE VAMPIRE DIARIES and THE ORIGINALS, is about the Salvatore Academy, a private high school where young witches, vampires, werewolves and other supernaturally-inclined teens can study without having to hide their true identities.
