If Tom Hiddleston’s acting work on its own were somehow not enough to make him rate highly, consider this. AMC’s limited series THE NIGHT MANAGER airs Tuesday nights at 10 PM. In this six-part espionage drama, based on the novel by John Le Carre, Hiddleston plays Jonathan Pine, who is recruited by British Intelligence to scope out amoral arms dealer Richard Roper (Hugh Laurie). Hiddleston shot to fame playing the villainous but witty Loki in the THOR and AVENGERS movies. He’s starred as a depressed vampire in ONLY LOVERS LEFT ALIVE, as an impoverished nobleman with a devastating secret in […]Read On »

THE WALKING DEAD has its Season Six finale this Sunday and there just may be a big introduction taking place. Maybe you’ve heard about it? I know I have. In fact, people can’t stop talking about it. So, why don’t I talk about as well. Non-spoiler warning: I’m not spoiling anything if you have watched up until the last episode that aired this past Sunday. So the group from Alexandria decided to venture out into the unknown in the previous episode in order to do two things. One group (Daryl, Rosita, Glenn and Michonne) went in search of the killers […]Read On »

FEAR THE WALKING DEAD: Alycia Debnam-Carey, Frank Dillane & Elizabeth Rodriguez on Season 1 – Interview

Alycia Debnam Carey as Alicia, Frank Dillane as Nick, Kim Dickens as Madison, Cliff Curtis as Travis, Elizabeth Rodriguez as Liza, Lorenzo James Henrie as Chris, Ruben Blades as Daniel Salazar, Patricia Reyes Spandola as Griselda Salazar and Mercedes Mason as Ofelia in FEAR THE WALKING DEAD - Season 1 |©2015 AMC/Frank Ockenfels 3

Although it is co-created by THE WALKING DEAD comics originator Robert Kirkman, AMC’s FEAR THE WALKING DEAD is set across the country (in Los Angeles, rather than the American South) and some time earlier than both the comics and THE WALKING DEAD. FEAR THE WALKING DEAD, which wraps its first season Sunday at 9 PM after earning enormous ratings and will be back with a longer second season next year, is only based conceptually on the source material. Kirkman and Dave Erickson use FEAR to explore the beginning of the zombie apocalypse, when people at first have no idea what […]Read On »

In AMC’s FEAR THE WALKING DEAD, Sundays at 9 PM, Lorenzo James Henrie plays Los Angeles teen Chris Manawa. Chris lives with his divorced mother Liza, played by Elizabeth Rodriguez. He’s so angry at his father Travis, played by Cliff Curtis, for living with another woman that he’s initially reckless when the city is hit by a wave of “civic unrest” (the audience knows what it really is, but at first the characters don’t). Henrie, a native of Arizona, has some previous genre credits, including playing “Vulcan Bully” in the 2009 STAR TREK feature. He also had an arc on […]Read On »

After the first episode of FEAR THE WALKING DEAD debuted to a cable record ratings, it is probably safe to say AMC has another hit on its hands despite some viewers’ opinions that it was too slow or there was not enough zombie carnage. While the first season is only six episodes (the same as the original series’ first season), there is still much that can happen to capture an audience. The cast and crew of FEAR THE WALKING DEAD believes so too and they gave AssignmentX five things to expect to see on the show during Season 1. 1) […]Read On »

In Part 2 of our exclusive interview with AMC’s FEAR THE WALKING DEAD director/co-executive producer Adam Davidson, he talks about scares, subtext and more. AX: How often do you actually want to go for a hard scare where there’s a visual shock, versus something that’s scary but presented mundanely, like a zombie seen at a distance? ADAM DAVIDSON: There isn’t any mathematical equation, it really comes down to storytelling. [There’s a scene in the pilot in the high school] that wasn’t intended as a scare moment, but when we staged the scene and I started shooting, I was like, “This […]Read On »

In Season 2 of AMC’s HALT AND CATCH FIRE, Sundays at 10 PM, we’ve jumped from 1982 to 1985. Lee Pace’s Machiavellian manager Joe MacMillan has returned to Texas, where Scoot McNairy’s Gordon Clark now heads up the computer development department of manufacturing firm Cardiff Electric. Gordon’s wife Donna, played by Kerry Bishe, also a code writer, has jumped ship to work at the Mutiny multiplayer game company founded by former Cardiff employee Cameron Howe (Mackenzie Davis). If Bishe and McNairy look like they belong together as a couple, that’s already occurred to others – the two actors were previously […]Read On »

Lee Pace’s character, self-destructive marketing genius Joe MacMillan swoops into the small Texas firm of Cardiff Electric and forces the company to compete with IBM in developing a PC.
