Well, the latest poster for the final HARRY POTTER film – HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS – PART 2 has arrived and it says it all: “It All Ends.” Arriving in theaters in 3D on July 15, the final chapter of the film adaptations of J.K. Rowling’s novels will feature the climactic battle between good (Harry as played by Daniel Radcliffe) and evil (Lord Voldemort as played by Ralph Fiennes). TNT presented the premiere screening of DreamWorks Television and Executive Producer Steven Spielberg’s brand new series FALLING SKIES on June 13th at the Pacific Design Center’s Silver Screen Theater in West Hollywood. In FALLING SKIES aliens have invaded Earth in military force. People have gone into hiding to escape the aliens and find themselves doing extraordinary things to survive. 20th Century Fox held the Los Angeles Premiere of MR. POPPER’S PENGUINS on June 12th, at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. Along with a “white” carpet with MR. POPPER’S PENGUINS written on it, there was loads of cotton to make it look like snow drifts and snow blowing (actually it was soap suds) as the stars walked down the carpet at the start of the premiere. They had built a pen by the doors of the theatre to house the Penguins, who actually walked the whole length of the carpet. However, with the full titles for his new THE HOBBIT prequels to his LORD OF THE RINGS now officially announced, this may be one misstep that is going to haunt him for some time.
