One of the biggest time bomb revelations over the last couple of days, was the news that THE WALKING DEAD executive producer Frank Darabont (and the person instrumental to bringing it to the small screen on AMC) had abruptly left the series in the middle of Season 2. TCA 2011 News: DOCTOR WHO might consider more U.S.-based stories in the future

At today’s 2011 TCA press tour in Beverly Hills, Matt Smith was asked who his favorite DOCTOR WHO was, and the answer is … second Doctor Patrick Troughton. “What’s wonderful about him is he’s weird and peculiar, but he’s not asking you to think he’s weird or peculiar,” says Smith. TCA 2011 News: Steven Moffat confirms DOCTOR WHO is “against Hitler”

Much has been written about the forthcoming DOCTOR WHO episode “Let’s Kill Hitler” at today’s Summer TCA session in Beverly Hills, DOCTOR WHO showrunner Steven Moffat chimed in about any quasi-controversy. “Unequivocally, we’re against Hitler,” says Moffat. “I think he was a bad thing and I’m glad he’s gone. The worst thing you could do to that awful man is to take the Mickey out of him on DOCTOR WHO. We’re not really going to save Hitler. TCA 2011 News: BEDLAM to bring the ‘scary’ to BBC America

At today’s TCA session, BBC America announced that they’re so impressed with the new supernatural series BEDLAM that they decided to move up its airdate from October 8 to October 1 so it can follow the season finale of DOCTOR WHO. BBC America will be debuting THE HOUR, its new co-production with BBC 2 on August 17th and critics got a first taste of the impressive looking  new series at the Summer’s 2011 TCA session. TCA 2011 News: BBC America to launch COPPER as its first original production

During today’s 2011 Summer TCA session, BBC America announced that they will be launching their first, self-produced original series in the summer of 2012. Called COPPER, it will be a ten episode series from Cineflix Studios and producers Barry Levinson and Tom Fontana. “Copper captures the immigrant experience in 19th Century New York,” says BBC America General Manager Perry Simon. “The show maintains our U.K. connectivity in a bold and smart way. Marvel Studios and Paramount Pictures held the World Premiere of CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER at the El Capitan Theater on July 19th. The carpet was red and white, and at the end of the carpet before the stars of the film and guests walked into the theater was the CAPTAIN AMERICA shield. The premiere was sponsored by Harley-Davidson, and where I was they had a white Harley that the stars autographed when they walked on the carpet.  In the film, CAPTAIN AMERICA rides a Harley-Davidson WLA motorcycle.  Also sponsoring was Baskin-Robbins and Dunkin’ Donuts.
