Three out of the four acts picked tonight on AMERICA’S GOT TALENT Quarter-Finals – Hollywood Week 4 were no big surprise. Team Illuminate, Fatally Unique and Zuma Zuma were as sure a thing as anything can be. What was surprising was that Yellow Designs Stunt Team didn’t make it and comedian Melissa Villasenor did make it. Ousted were the death defying artist Frank Miles, singer Taylor Davis and the Chipettes sounding Avery and the Calico Hearts.
Highlights included a funny segment about Howie Mandel running around before the show making wise with the crew and tormenting his co-hosts Sharon Osbourne and especially Piers Morgan. Also worthy of note were performances by Maroon 5 and Jason Derulo. The lows included host Nick Cannon sitting in the audience with the host of LOVE IN THE WILD – the show that airs immediately after AGT – discussing this week’s episode on LITW. What good is it to be able to fast forward through the commercial breaks if you have to watch promos for other TV shows while you are watching your show!?
Back onto AGT, yes the beloved “belly” dancer Sam B did get kicked off the show as did – no surprise at all – The Kinetic King and lastly Charles Peachock, who almost made it through but was passed over for Villasenor by the judges.
Sixteen have been selected to go to the semi-finals, who will make it all the way? Stay tuned!
