Over three seasons of ABC’s CASTLE – which returns for its fourth season on Monday, September 19 – we’ve seen Nathan Fillion’s wealthy, best-selling mystery novelist Rick Castle fall for Stana Katic’s Kate Beckett, the dedicated NYPD homicide detective Castle follows around. Soap fans were obviously upset that ABC cancelled their long-running daytime soaps ALL MY CHILDREN and ONE LIFE TO LIVE, and that’s extended to the promise of boycotting the reality shows replacing them on ABC’s daytime schedule. One of the biggest summer scripted success stories has been ABC’s Canadian co-production cop show ROOKIE BLUE starring Missy Peregrym  that has performed solidly last summer and this summer as well. TCA 2011 News: ABC still working on THE INCREDIBLE HULK TV series (and a Marvel character will also be on CASTLE this year)

With Marvel now part of the Disney (and ABC fold), ABC Entertainment President Paul Lee said today during his Television Critics Association executive session that he’s very eager to bring Marvel characters to the network. DANCING WITH THE STARS Finale Recap: Hines Ward is the DWTS Champ!

It’s all over but the shouting! Hines Ward and Kym Johnson are the champions of DANCING WITH THE STARS – Season 12! It was no big surprise that Ward won.
