With FRINGE on a creative high this season, fans have been wondering if Fox may pull another TERRA NOVA and unceremoniously cancel the series before they get a chance to write a satisfying season finale. However, at Wondercon 2012, FRINGE executive producers J.H. Wyman and Jeff Pinkner revealed that it’s still a possibility that a Season 5 will happen. “I think we’re 70/30 that the show is coming back,” says Pinkner. “We’re inside of it and we’re very hopeful, but those odds may be skewered by our own aspirations.” For Wyman, he says that nothing is ever set in stone, […]Read On »

Interview: Cliff Curtis goes CIA on MISSING

Cliff Curtis in MISSING - Season 1 | ©2012 ABC/Bob D'Amico

A mother in search of her kidnapped son can be formidable. A mother in that situation, who also used to be a CIA field agent, can be the proverbial unstoppable force. Certainly, that’s the case with Ashley Judd’s MISSING character Rebecca Winstone, who has raised her son Michael (Nick Eversman) alone ever since the death of Nick’s father, Rebecca’s husband and fellow CIA agent Paul Winstone (Sean Bean, see in flashbacks throughout the series). Naturally, the CIA isn’t too thrilled with the idea of one of their own, albeit retired, deploying her Agency skills around the globe. European station chief […]Read On »

Joelle Carter in JUSTIFIED - Season 3 | ©2012 FX/Frank Ockenfels III

On JUSTIFIED, FX’s hit series now in its third season Tuesdays at 10 PM, a lot of the characters are passionate, strong-willed rule breakers. This is obviously true of the hero, U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens, played by Timothy Olyphant, and his onetime childhood friend and now sometime ally/sometime adversary, the outlaw Boyd Crowder, played by Walton Goggins. However, Joelle Carter’s character Ava Crowder can and does give both men a run for their money in the gritty determination department. Ava shot and killed her abusive husband Bowman, who was Boyd’s brother. She then hooked up with Raylan for awhile, but […]Read On »
