Summit Entertainment held the Los Angeles Premiere on July 11th of RED 2 at the Westwood Village Theatre in Westwood. Closing the streets by the theatre, which was lined with fans that screamed when the stars arrived and hoped to get autographs or take a picture with the stars. RED 2 is based on characters created by Warren Elis and Cully Hamner. Paramount Pictures recently held the Los Angeles Premiere of STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood. The TCL Chinese, where normally premieres are held is shut down for the summer for remodeling. Closing Hollywood Boulevard from Highland to Orange to accommodate the fans for this next installment in the STAR TREK Universe. Fans were everywhere hanging over the railings in the Hollywood/Highland Complex, besides in the bleachers overlooking the gray carpet and on both sides of the street.
