Paramount Pictures recently held the Los Angeles Premiere of STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood. The TCL Chinese, where normally premieres are held is shut down for the summer for remodeling. Closing Hollywood Boulevard from Highland to Orange to accommodate the fans for this next installment in the STAR TREK Universe. Fans were everywhere hanging over the railings in the Hollywood/Highland Complex, besides in the bleachers overlooking the gray carpet and on both sides of the street.
Walking down the long carpet setup were the stars of STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS, which included: Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Alice Eve, Karl Urban, John Cho, Bruce Greenwood, Peter Weller, Jennifer Morrison, Leonard Nimoy, Nazneen Contractor, J.J. Abrams (Director/Producer), David Ellison (Executive Producer), Neville Page (Lead Creature Designer) and, Co-Writers and Producers: Damon Lindelof, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci.
Joining them were guests, which included: Cat Sadler, Sarah Chalke, Maria Menounos, Rod Roddenberry, Rob Moran, Julie Moran, Derek Theler, Ashley Williams, LeVar Burton, Kevin Zegers, Catherine Bell, Serinda Swan, Lea Thompson, Kate Beckinsale, Len Wiseman, Shari Stowe, Robert Pine, Jessica Szohr, Katie McGrath, Judd Apatow, and Fran Drescher.
