The last person you’d be expecting to star in a superhero movie would be comedian Seth Rogen. And the last person you would expect to be co-writing a superhero movie (with writing partner Evan Goldberg) would be Rogen too. Yet, on Friday, Rogen will make his superhero debut with THE GREEN HORNET, playing the iconic green-masked hero from the old radio serials who is given a modern-day facelift with comedy and crazy action. Clip of the Day: Jim Carrey gets freaky on SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE

SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE has always been hit and miss, but with the usually hilarious Jim Carrey hosting, one only hoped the show would have been better than it was. However, among the mediocrity, there was this deranged, short sketch that got it right.  Set in an amusement park ride, it used Carrey (and SNL cast members Taran Killam and Bill Hader) in a weird, nightmarish scenario. The sketch didn’t drag, it wasn’t redundant, it got in, and got out – with tons of laughs. Check it out below to see what we mean:

First THE SOUP took to task talks shows and reality TV, now Daniel Tosh is doing the same for viral web videos with his hit Comedy Central series TOSH.O which begins its third season on January 11. Movie Review: DUE DATE

When two teams of writers work on a project, it’s generally not good news. Such is the case with DUE DATE, a road trip comedy blessed with the intense, intelligent presence of Robert Downey, Jr. and Zack Galifianakis as mismatched travelers, but lacking hilarity in either premise or details.
