CHICAGO JUSTICE is the latest entry in executive producer Dick Wolf’s spectacularly successful NBC CHICAGO FIRE-verse, which also includes CHICAGO P.D. and CHICAGO MED (the verse also occasionally crosses over with LAW & ORDER: SVU). Like its siblings, CHICAGO JUSTICE actually films in Chicago, and shares cast with the other shows as various plot elements can span several series.
