After a lot of behind-the-scenes back-and-forth (changes in premiere date, changes in show runner), CBS All-Access’ STAR TREK: DISCOVERY has announced its first three regular cast members. Doug Jones, one of filmmaker Guillermo Del Toro’s favorite actors (he’s the Faun and the Pale Man in PAN’S LABYRINTH, Abe Sapien in the HELLBOY movies, an unknown character in Del Toro’s upcoming THE SHAPE OF WATER and more), plays Lt. News: SUPERNATURAL spin-off still a possibility says the CW President Mark Pedowitz

During its ninth season, SUPERNATURAL had a backdoor pilot for a spin-off in its episode “Bloodlines.” It didn’t work. However, SUPERNATURAL is now successfully in its tenth season and renewed for an eleventh. Breaking News: GAME OF THRONES gets Season 4 airdate – TCA 2014

At today’s Television Critics Association session for HBO, it was announced that GAME OF THRONES Season 4 has finally been given an airdate. Expect the show to return on Sunday, April 6 at 9:00 pm (ET/PT). Additionally, a teaser trailer for the forthcoming season will air this Sunday night on HBO as well.
