On March 22, 2011, the long awaited LEGO STAR WARS III: THE CLONE WARS video game arrives from LucasArts promising more gameplay and advanced features (it will be available for PS3, PSP, XBOX, Wii, Nintendo DS, PC and Nintendo 3DS). Based on the first two seasons STAR WARS: CLONE WARS animated series, the gameplay may be getting an upgrade, but the grunts remain the same. There have been many terrific, epically in-your-face scores for this year’s exceedingly tasty crop of Hollywood CGI toons. So it’s particularly nice to hear the powerful gentility of his beautifully animated French film, one that just received a deserved Oscar bone nod to the quickly vanishing hand-drawn pictures that used to be the category’s, and industry norm.
