Breaking News: Some FRINGE Season 4 plans revealed by producers

Now that Fox has greenlit a fourth season of FRINGE, it was time to find out what exactly that means for the venerable Fox science-fiction series and executive producers Jeff Pinkner and J.H. Wyman revealed this morning some more tidbits. “We are always percolating ideas for next season, but haven’t formally sat down to talk about them,” says Pinkner. “We’re finishing this season.” As for what will happen with our world and “Over There,” Wyman confirms that storytelling for “Over There” will not be over next year. “It’s not going to end, our plan is to go forward,” says Wyman. DANCING WITH THE STARS Recap: Sugar Ray knocked out of the Season 12 competition

The Champ is down for good. Sugar Ray Leonard is knocked out of DANCING WITH THE STARS in week four. In a somewhat surprising ending, Leonard was ousted while lowest ranking celeb Kendra Wilkinson was saved, to her surprise and everyone else’s. Still, it was destined to be either Leonard or Wilkinson and somehow Wilkinson’s GIRLS NEXT DOOR fans pulled her through to week five. The rest of the show was standard. Twentieth Century Fox and Blue Sky Studios held the Los Angeles Premiere of RIO at the Grauman’s Mann Chinese Theater on April10th in Hollywood. Back in February, ASSIGNMENT X ran the RIO SNEAK BEAK EVENT (CLICK HERE) that was held on the FOX Studio Lot to announce the tie-in with the movie and ANGRY BIRDS. Michael Shannon hired for SUPERMAN: MAN OF STEEL to play General Zod

Now that the heroes have almost all been cast for the new Superman movie reboot MAN OF STEEL (which is what Warner Bros. is now officially calling the film ), it’s time to move on to casting the villains. Today, Warner Bros. announced that REVOLUTIONARY ROAD and HBO’s BOARDWALK EMPIRE star Michael Shannon will take on the role of General Zod originally made famous by Terence Stamp in Richard Donner’s 1978 original SUPERMAN and 1981’s SUPERMAN II. First Look Photos of new FRIGHT NIGHT remake starring Colin Farrell

The remake of the 1985 horror/comedy film FRIGHT NIGHT hits theaters August 19, but DreamWorks just released these first look photos from the movie. The remake stays true to the original when an all-American boy Charley Brewster (Anton Yelchin) discovers his next door neighbor Jerry Dandrige (Colin Farrell) is a vampire. To help him, Charley calls on Vegas showman Peter Vincent (David Tennant) to help him put a stake in Dandrige’s evil plans.
