Columbia Pictures recently held the premiere of 21 JUMP STREET at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. Taken after the television show (1987-1991) of the same name, which starred Johnny Depp, Holly Robinson Peete (who stars in the film), Dustin Nguyen, Peter DeLuise and Richard Grieco. The film version has the same premise; two young looking guys from the police force go undercover in a local high school to investigate a drug ring. After major delays to the long-awaited reboot of THE LONE RANGER franchise, Walt Disney Pictures just released this cool new image from the Gore Verbinski directed film. Armie Hammer (THE SOCIAL NETWORK) plays John Reid, the masked man, while Johnny Depp is his sidekick Tonto. Should be interesting to see how this turns out.
