FX’s new series THE BEAUTY is adapted by Matthew Hodgson & Ryan Murphy from the comic book by Jeremy Haun & Jason A. Hurley. It airs on FX Wednesday nights, with episodes thereafter available on Hulu in the U.S. and on Disney+ internationally. News: Emet Comics is female-centric

The universe of women in the comic-book industry expanded this May with the launch of Emet Comics. Former film executive Maytal Gilboa founded Emet with six female-created comics to counter the notion that women aren’t interested in the art form as either makers or consumers. The first title scheduled to be released from Emet is ROMEO & JULIET & GUNS, an action tale set in a “hyper-modern” Verona. Five more titles are due out shortly. Before you say it, yes, we already know that MARVEL’S AGENT CARTER was sort of a spinoff from the current ongoing series on ABC AGENT OF SHIELD. However, according to The Hollywood Reporter, another spinoff may be in the works that both Marvel and ABC have signed off on based on current plotlines happening on AOS in its second season.
