It’s a tough TV business, and every year fan favorite shows get the boot in favor of new shows that sometimes don’t live up to the potential of the departing series. This year, Fox canceled many fan favorites including the three season LIE TO ME, the two season HUMAN TARGET and THE CHICAGO CODE and the comedies TRAFFIC LIGHT and BREAKING IN. Even though the Fox network has no involvement with the proposed 24 movie featuring Kiefer Sutherland reprising his role as Jack Bauer, it didn’t stop Fox Entertainment chairman Peter Rice from being asked about it while speaking the press today about Fox’s 2011-2012 schedule. “I don’t work at the movie company,” Rice cautious, “but my sense about it, is everyone would like to make a 24 movie.
