Creator and writer Bryan Fuller at WonderCon 2011 | ©2011 Assignment X/Peter Brown Bryan Fuller’s baby PUSHING DAISIES only lasted two seasons on ABC and one could argue at the treatment it received during that second season. However, he isn’t saying goodbye just yet and would love to have it appear on another network at some point. “I am really emboldened by what Starz is doing with TORCHWOOD and I would love to do a PUSHING DAISIES mini-series on Starz,” Fuller says. “This would be a great way to wrap up the show properly. SOUTHLAND concludes its third season on TNT tonight and executive producer John Wells (ER, THE WEST WING, THIRD WATCH and CHINA BEACH) chats about the gritty police drama that was unceremoniously dumped by NBC before its second season aired, only to find a home with TNT. It’s been a very chaotic week for Fox’s Monday night line-up. First, the network canceled their ambitious and critically acclaimed soap opera LONE STAR from the schedule after two episodes. Next, they called up their excellent procedural LIE TO ME to pinch hit in its old Monday at 9:00 p.m. time slot (which it occupied all summer), resulting in a mad scramble to get the word out of this change. And finally, your brand new pop cultural destination ASSIGNMENT X nabbed our first big scoop – LIE TO ME star Tim Roth wanted to speak with us about the show […]Read On »
