Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Animation held the World Premiere of THE EMOJI MOVIE on July 23rd at the Regency Village Theatre in Westwood, California. It was a huge setup with a carnival setting at the end of the carpet with food, drinks, ice cream and more for the guests and stars of the film to enjoy before the movie started. On TV Land’s RETIRED AT 35, now in its second season Wednesdays at 11 PM, Johnathan McClain plays the title character, David Robbins, who quits his awful job and returns to his hometown, only to be caught up in quarrels between his strong-willed parents, played by George Segal and Jessica Walter. McClain is a native of South Carolina whose TV resume includes 24, MEDIUM and CSI. This interview was conducted over the phone. DreamWorks Animation held the Los Angeles Premiere of KUNG FU PANDA 2 at the Mann’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood on May 22nd. They had a huge before party with games and food that the stars and guests attended. Each attendee was giving a black gift bag filled with stuff, although I’m not sure what was in the bag! Fans lined the open area opposite from the press to get autographs and take pictures, and waited until Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt arrived; which since Jolie and Pitt love their fans, they signed many autographs.
