In NEXT, Tuesday nights on Fox, series creator Manny Coto postulates that an artificial intelligence has reached self-awareness, and wants to get rid of humanity. The A.I.’s regretful inventor, billionaire Paul LeBlanc (John Slattery), enlists government cyber-security expert Shea Salazar (Fernanda Andrade) and her team in an effort to stop neXt. Jason Butler Harner plays Ted LeBlanc, Paul’s younger brother, who has taken over the company Paul founded.
