LucasFIlm’s held the World Premiere of SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY on May 10th at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. It was a huge premiere with Hollywood Boulevard closed from Highland to Orange to accommodate the stars and guests. The movie is the coming of age of Hans Solo finding his purpose in life before becoming the STAR WARS most ironic and adored maverick. Terence Blanchard has been fighting the good fight when it comes to scoring the black experience in any number of scores for Spike Lee, including his look at negro soldiers in the WW2 Italian conflict for the MIRACLE AT ST. ANNA.
