Just as the networks gear up for their brand new series and season premieres, the web is getting into the fall spirit with its own ambitious original debut series. On September 21, the arrival of the new ambitious six-part weekly science-fiction series RCVR hits the web courtesy of Machinima which involves conspiracies, cover-ups, spaceships, and maybe even some alien life forms. It’s always tough to hear about the passing of an actor from a beloved TV series or movie, but when that person is as young as Andy Whitfield, it makes things all the more tragic. The 39-year old actor best known for playing Spartacus in the hit Starz series SPARTACUS: BLOOD AND SAND was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma cancer 18 months ago which delayed the start of Season 2 of the series.
