In 1984 Donald Duck was honored in an official Handprint and Footprint Ceremony at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. Alvin, Simon and Theodore of ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS fame, the World Famous Chipmunks now join Donald. It was such a fun day! Alvin, Simon and Theodore walked out from the theatre to be greeted by 300 children from the Hollenbeck Middle School all dressed in Alvin t-shirts, plus fans and all the press. Christmas came a little early this year in Hollywood! New Line Cinema in association with Mandate Pictures, a Kingsgate Film Production held the Los Angeles Premiere of A VERY HAROLD AND KUMAR 3D CHRISTMAS, November 2nd at the Grauman’s Chinese Theater. The red carpet was decorated with toy soldiers, lights, Santa Claus, presents and some little gadget called a Waffle Dot. The Top 11 went down to 10 last night on THE X FACTOR which saw the second “group” eliminated from the talent competition. Last week, Intensity went home, and this week two groups landed in the bottom two – The Stereo Hogzz and Lakoda Rayne. This brings up the issue of whether or not audiences HATE groups in these kind of competition or if they’re severely punishing Paula Abdul who is managing the groups. Academy Award winner Mickey Rourke will be starring in Relativity’s upcoming film IMMORTALS, along with Luke Evans, Henry Cavill and Kellan Lutz and the atmosphere reflected the movie. At the AMERICAN FILM MARKET 2011, writer-director and action star Taimak (aka Taimak Guarriello) was introducing buyers to a brand new film of his called I’VE SEEN THINGS which reunites him with his THE LAST DRAGON co-star Leo O’Brien The film has 35 minutes completed as a show reel and Guarriello was encouraged by friend Joel Eisenberg at EMO Films to come out to the AFM and meet distributors about potential completion funds.
