DreamWorks Pictures held the World Premiere of REAL STEEL on October 2nd at the Gibson Amphitheatre, Universal Citywalk in Universal City. On the Citywalk stage two of the robots stood for people to take pictures with. REAL STEEL is set in the near future where 2000 lb. robot fighters have replaced humans in the boxing rings. Warner Bros. Pictures and Alcon Entertainment held the World Premiere of DOLPHIN TALE on September 17th at the Village Theatre in Westwood. The blue carpet had a backdrop with large fish tanks. DOLPHIN TALE is a true story about a brave dolphin named Winter, and the compassionate people who banded together to save her life. The 2011 EyeGore Awards were held at Universal Studios Hollywood on Friday night – just as Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights kicked off its annual haunted park event. Corey Feldman hosted the event with a CHILDREN OF THE CORN-esque stage backdrop providing fodder as a scarecrow proved to be Feldman’s comedic foil throughout the night. Toronto beefed it’s celebrity profile in 2011 at the 36th Annual Toronto International Film Festival by having a slew of music documentaries. Interestingly they were all about musicians who have heavily dabbled in film in the past. Lionsgate presented a Gotham Group/Vertigo Entertainment/Quick Six Entertainment production, in association with Mango Farms the World Premiere of ABDUCTION at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre on September 15th. As usual, fans lined the street and some lucky fans were put near us on the black carpet. Screaming as the stars arrived…the loudest for TWILIGHT heartthrob and star of the movie Taylor Lautner.
