In TV One’s new telefilm HEAR NO EVIL, set and shot in Atlanta, Georgia, Jahnee Wallace stars as Shelby, a deaf teenager who suddenly can hear. Not only that, but she’s sure she’s hearing God. While Shelby’s parents (played by Jill Marie Jones and Richard T. Jones) and uncle (Jackie Long) have differing reactions to this development, there’s also the possibility that she may have heard something that endangers her. In TV One’s original telefilm WHITE WATER, premiering Saturday, February 7 at 8 PM, we’re in a small, racially segregated Alabama town in 1963. Young Michael, played by seven-year-old twins Amari and Amir O’Neil, develops an obsession with tasting the water from the “whites only” drinking fountain, imagining it must be delicious.
