Stars (voices): Billy West, Katey Sagal, John Di Maggio, Tress MacNeille, Maurice LaMarche, Phil LaMarr, Lauren Tom, Dave Herman Writer: Dwayne Carey-Hill Director: Patric M. Verrone Network: Comedy Central, Wednesday nights Airdate: June 27, 2012 It was a smart move by the FUTURAMA writers to use this year’s election to do their own sci-fi take on campaigning and how society views on voting for a President just never change. And “Decision 3012” is a smart piece of political satire, even if it isn’t the type of laugh-out-loud funny we come to expect from the show. The concept is simple. The […]Read On »

Maurice LaMarche, alongside fellow voice actress Tress MacNeille are the utility players for Comedy Central’s FUTURAMA animated series now entering its Seventh Season. Now only do they have recurring characters they voice (for LaMarche it’s Kif Kroker, Calculon, Lrrr), they’re always coming up with new voices to fill out the show’s unique universe of science-fictional crazies. “I am one of the utility voice players on the show,” explains LaMarche. “I’m the male Tress MacNeille. She does more voices including one offs and recurring than anyone else on the show. Somebody did a website of how many characters each [voice actor […]Read On »

The episode begins with weird weather patterns and results in Fry inadvertently discovering an ancient “Mayan” temple underneath the earth. What they […]Read On »

Stars (voices): Billy West, Katey Sagal, John Di Maggio, Tress MacNeille, Maurice LaMarche Network: Comedy Central, Thursdays @ 10 PM Airdate: August 18, 2011 Original, funny, and interesting, it seems like the writers heard our cry that we were fed up with the bland FUTURAMA versions of old classics.  This week, in “The Tip of the Zoidberg” they actually made up a storyline from scratch.  It’s also a great back story that explains a good deal, and does so with some hilarious lines. The show starts off with Dr. Zoidberg (voiced by Billy West) treating the crew of the Planet […]Read On »
