THE PATH is now streaming all of its ten-episode first season on Hulu, where it premiered and has been renewed for a second year. Created by Jessica Goldberg, THE PATH concerns a religion, Meyerism, born in the twentieth century. Eddie Lane (Aaron Paul) has his doubts, but his wife Sarah (Michelle Monaghan) is a staunch adherent, who also has a past with Meyerism’s current leader, Cal Roberts (Hugh Dancy). PARENTHOOD began life as a feature film comedy/drama about a large family. It was adapted into a half-hour television series that ran for twelve episodes in 1990-1991. NBC was the first out of the gate to announce their Fall 2011 and Midseason 2012 schedule in New York today. With the most to gain, NBC has put together a pretty aggressive schedule of newcomers benefitted from expected returning warhorses. While there isn’t anything earth-shattering, it is nice to see NBC going with the CW playbook by booking two genre series back-to-back on Friday night with returning CHUCK and the new series GRIMM.
