It’s no surprise to CHUCK fans that “Vs. The Push Mix” would have served as some sort of series finale if the show didn’t get picked up for its back nine episodes for Season Four.

Of course, the show did get its full season pick-up, so now “Vs. The Push Mix” serves as an excellent half season finale – wrapping up tons of subplots and setting the stage for the second part of this season which looks like it might be about, “we need a Big Bad.”

Exclusive Interview: Summer Glau protects THE CAPE

On NBC’s new series THE CAPE, hero Vince Faraday (David Lyons) can do amazing things with the title object, but he’d still be unlikely to survive without the guidance and assistance of Summer Glau’s Orwell, a mysterious young woman whose martial arts abilities are as impressive as her considerable computer skills. Glau is no stranger to the world of genre television and film. After playing the trapped spirit of a Russian ballerina in an episode of ANGEL, she was cast as the troubled, but super-powered River Tam on Joss Whedon’s FIREFLY, a role she reprised in the feature SERENITY. Glau […]Read On »

Exclusive Interview: DARK SKIES actress Megan Ward declassifies the 1990s sci-fi TV series

Megan Ward in DARK SKIES: THE DECLASSIFIED COMPLETE SERIES | ©2011 Shout! Factory

When THE X-FILES hit it big in the 1990s, all the other networks were looking for their own science-fiction series to rake in a loyal fan following and a ratings bonanza. One of the best was NBC’s DARK SKIES created by Bryce Zabel and Brent V. Friedman. It only last one-season, but its rich mythology and feature-film qualities made it a stand-out (Tobe Hooper even helmed the pilot). The story was set in the 1960s and followed John Loengard (Eric Close) and Kimberly Sayers (Megan Ward) as they were called into action by the government to take down an unseen […]Read On »

Yes, Vincent (David Lyons) is at odds with Max (Keith David) here, while a feud between Scales (Vinnie Jones) and Chess (James Frain) creates a surprising […]Read On »

Linda Hamilton in CHUCK - Season 4 | &Copy 2011 NBC/Mitchell Haaseth

One of the things that has made CHUCK such a great series throughout its four season run, is the quality of guest actors that have popped up for one-shots and multi-arcs.

From Chevy Chase to Brandon Routh, CHUCK is a show that gives people a chance to show a different side within a quirky TV show that feels like an expansive action movie every week.

TV Review: MEDIUM – Season 7 – “Me Without You” – Series Finale

It’s so hard to wrap up a long-running series, be faithful to the core values of it and still satisfy fan expectations. It’s even harder when your series comes to an end quicker than you would have liked or expected.

The latter is the case of MEDIUM. It only made it through a half-season this year before CBS pulled the plug after seven years (five of those were spent on NBC, two on CBS).

This at least gave creator Glenn Gordon Caron time to craft an actual finale, rather than leaving the show on a limbo note.

Come on CHUCK fans, we all knew that there was no way Chuck (Zachary Levi) was going to be able propose to Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski) without some complications.

Of course, that’s the pleasure of “Vs. The Balcony” a light and fun episode detailing some routine spy stuff in France accompanied by Chuck’s constantly foiled attempts to propose to Sarah.

TV Review: CHUCK – Season 4 – “Vs. The Leftovers”

For the geeks like myself who love CHUCK, “Vs. The Leftovers” was filled with the kind of pop culture chocolatey goodness that you couldn’t help smiling throughout while watching. First off, you get Linda Hamilton as Mom Bartowski saving the life of Chuck (Zachary Levi) and then saying the infamous TERMINATOR line “Come with me if you want to live.”
