HAWAII FIVE-0: Masi Oka on his fifth season in paradise- exclusive interview

HAWAII FIVE-0, CBS’ sturdy reboot of the original 1968-1980 island cop show, is now on Fridays in its sixth year and renewed for a seventh. Masi Oka joined the cast in the show’s second year as coroner Dr. Max Bergman, who helps McGarrett (Alex O’Loughlin), Danny Williams (Scott Caan) and their team investigate crime for the police department in the paradise-like environment. For four seasons, Jack Coleman played Noah Bennet, aka HRG (short for “Horn-Rimmed Glasses”) or “the man with the plan,” on NBC’s HEROES. Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures presented the Los Angeles premiere of PACIFIC RIM, a Legendary Pictures/DDY Production, and a Guillermo del Toro Film on July 9th at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood. The premiere was in the middle of the street with fans lining the street and the carpet went through the Hollywood and Highland Complex and up to the main stairwell, which fans also lined up to get autographs and photos of the stars as they arrived.
