TCA 2011: Fox talks FRINGE and Season 4 expectations on Friday nights

One of the big wins for the Fox network last season was the risky move of its signature science-fiction series FRINGE from Thursday nights to Fridays – resulting in sustained ratings and giving Fox a stronghold on what has been a traditionally difficult night for them. While speaking with FRINGE executive producers Jeff Pinkner and J.H. Wyman this morning, they admitted that Season 4 of the series will likely remain on Friday nights. “Fox has not officially told us we’re on Friday,” says Pinkner. “We’re assuming we’re on Friday and our pick-up implies they’re happy with us there.
