TV Review: CAMELOT – Season 1 – “Three Journeys”

Claire Forlani in CAMELOT - Season 1 | ©2011 Starz

Stars: Jamie Campbell Bower, Joseph Fiennes, Eva Green, Claire Forlani Writer: Chris Chibnall Director: Stefan Schwartz Network: Starz, airs Friday nights Original Telecast: May 6th, 2010 It saddens me when Period shows fall into all too familiar traps. So often they start of strong and then lose some of the head of steam that they had when they started. CAMELOT has fallen under this dark banner. The latest episode “Three Journeys” felt like a filler in between more important plot threads that were left out of this story’s continuity. King Arthur (Jamie Campbell Bower) takes off out of Camelot after […]Read On »

Peter Dinklage in GAME OF THRONES - Season 1 | ©2011 HBO/Helen Sloan

Peter Dinklage plays Tyrion Lannister, one of that bloodline’s complex scions. Dinklage talks with us about his adventures in Martin’s fantastical yet oh-so-human terrain. ASSIGNMENT X: Were you a fan of George R.R. Martin’s books before you become involved? PETER DINKLAGE: Yeah. I read the first one and I loved it, and that was […]Read On »

The Dork Side: Come On, Get Happy

Donald Trump in THE CELEBRITY APPRENTICE | ©NBC/Virginia Sherwood

There is a lot of bad news right now. I think we could all use a little cheering up, so I’ve composed a list of things that we can be all be happy about: There’s no law that forces us to watch CELEBRITY APPRENTICE … yet. Celebrities will always film themselves doin’ it and take naked photos of themselves, and act shocked and embarrassed when they are “leaked” to the media, giving us things to stealthily look at and read about while we pretend to work in our cubicles. Carson Daly’s LAST CALL has been renewed for an 11th season, […]Read On »
