Adult Swim’s CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL, now in its third season, is a show of almost indescribably strange scripted comedy. Ken Marino (pronounced “Meh-REE-no”) plays Dr. Glenn Richie, one of the strange members of staff. Marino is also known to TV viewers as private detective Vinnie Van Lowe on VERONICA MARS, often stymied catering worker Ron Donald on PARTY DOWN, and Tony, single gay demon adoptive father of a human baby, on REAPER. The Long Island native is also a prolific screenwriter of comedy films. He talks with us about all of these gigs and more. ASSIGNMENT X: Do you have a […]Read On »

Writer: Trey Parker Director: Trey Parker Network: Comedy Central, airs Wednesday nights Original Telecast: April 27, 2011 It’s impossible to know where SOUTH PARK creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone are going to go next. Each half season can go from brilliant to uninspired within a week’s time, but the joy of the show is the surprise and anticipation of what they’re going to skewer and spoof next. TV Review: SOUTH PARK – Season 14 – “Crème Fraiche”

© 2010 Comedy Central | SOUTH PARK - Season 14 - "Creme Fraiche"

As Season 14 of SOUTH PARK comes to a close with “Creme Fraiche,” creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone tackle two disparate topics – food porn and the Shake Weights phenomenon. When Stan’s dad Randy begins to obsess about cooking shows (staying up late and masturbating to them), his wife Sharon starts to block the programs on their TV. But Stan is addicted, which soon leads him to the 1-800 hotline for the Food Network (think phone sex, but about food) and eventually he’s the new cafeteria chef at Stan’s school. Suffice to say, his food choices are way too […]Read On »
