The X List: Five DOCTOR WHO Pirate Adventures

Although “The Curse of the Black Spot” was only the second full-fledged period pirate tale featured in DOCTOR WHO, there have been  other televised adventures in which the TARDIS has landed in the middle of swashbuckling, sea- or space-faring scurvy dogs in full eye-patch and parrot-y regalia. The World Premiere of Disney’s PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: ON STRANGER TIDES was held May 7th at Disneyland in Anaheim, California. This is the second part of our photo coverage. Arriving at Disneyland at 4:00pm the press gathered in the Media Center, which was located inside the Mr. Lincoln’s Theater at the beginning of Main Street. Finally, all of the press was escorted out to the “black” carpet to take our spots and wait for the premiere to start. The arrivals were 3 hours long to accommodate all the stars and the guests.
