20th Century Fox held the premiere for INDEPENDENCE DAY: RESURGENCE on June 20th, but before the premiere a special HAND AND FOOTPRINT CEREMONY was held in the foyer of the TCL Chinese Theatre IMAX for Roland Emmerich to honor him for his work in the film industry. He joins the many stars whose hand & footprints tourists flock to Hollywood to see every year. THE WALKING DEAD attraction opens July 4th at UNIVERSAL STUDIOS HOLLYWOOD and a few days before they held a press event for this permanent attraction. Joining Greg Nicotero (Executive Producer, Director and owner of KNB Efx) were stars from the hit AMC’s Award-winning television series, which included: Brighton Sharbino, Kyla Kennedy, Michael Traynor, Ross Marquand, Addy Miller, and Scott Wilson. Highlights from the 2016 LA FILM FESTIVAL

1) The new venue. Once upon a time the LAFF was in Hollywood. The it was in Westwood next to the UCLA campus. Then it was in the LA LIVE center downtown. All three areas managed to dwarf what was going on around it. In Hollywood it didn’t stick out enough from usual Hollywood goings on. At UCLA film goers were over run by campus dwellers (even though it was during Summer break). David Hoselton serves as show runner and one of the executive producers on Fox Network’s HOUDINI & DOYLE, Mondays at 9 PM. In the series created by David Titcher, Harry Houdini (Michael Weston) and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (Stephen Mangan) team up with Constable Adelaide Stratton (Rebecca Liddiard) to solve possibly supernatural crimes in 1901 England.
