Warner Bros. Pictures, in association with Legendary Pictures, A Green Hat Films Production presented the Los Angeles Premiere of THE HANGOVER PART II on May 19th at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. Hollywood Boulevard was closed between Highland and Orange to accommodate the fans, and all the press. The “black carpet” had HANGOVER printed on it and where I was standing they had big red letters stating the same. It’s all over but the shouting! Hines Ward and Kym Johnson are the champions of DANCING WITH THE STARS – Season 12! It was no big surprise that Ward won. He had a huge fan base and the judges loved him. What was surprising is that Kirstie Alley edged out Chelsea Kane for second place even though Kane had five points on Alley. Sony Pictures Classics presented the Los Angeles premiere of MIDNIGHT IN PARIS, a film by Woody Allen on May 18th at The Academy Samuel Goldwyn Theatre in Beverly Hills.  The premiere benefited THE AMERICAN FILM INSTITUTE. MIDNIGHT IN PARIS is a romantic comedy set in Paris. And Warner Bros. just released the first official image from the production featuring Tom Hardy as the villainous Bane (you can check it out below). The CW Network was the last presentation at New York’s upfronts today as the unveiled their 2011-2012 schedule. An interesting strategy emerged, as each night had some continuity (something the CW does rather well). The Josh Schwartz/Stephanie Savage projects GOSSIP GIRL and newcomer HART OF DIXIE will air on Mondays; 90210 will pair with new Sarah Michelle Gellar project RINGER on Tuesday;  reality shows H8R and AMERICA’S TOP MODEL anchor Wednesdays; Kevin Williamson’s THE VAMPIRE DIARIES and newcomer witch project THE SECRET CIRCLE air on Thursdays; while genre fare NIKITA and SUPERNATURAL rest on Fridays. Abrams produced series PERSON OF INTEREST.
