It’s spring break/team dance night on DANCING WITH THE STARS and all eight couples boogied to the beach decor as Patti LaBelle & Artem Chigvintsev got thrown to the sand, ending their race for the special 20th season golden mirror ball trophy. Still, what a way to go out. Ms. LaBelle was shake, shake shakin’ it! Truly, she was a positive spirit in the ballroom. Also uplifting were Riker Lynch & Allison Holker’s amazing scores. The duo landed in first, again, with an impressive 76 out of 80 points. Cousin Derek Hough & Nastia Liukin tied for second along with Willow Shields & Mark Ballas with 73 points. Raunchy Rumer Willis & Val Chmerkovskiy were a little too much for the judges this week. They dropped from first to third with 71 while Chris Soules & Witney Carson ended the night with 70. Noah Galloway & Sharna Burgess received 68 points and in last is Robert Herjavec & Kym Johnson with 67.
The team dance challenge ended in a draw. Both teams scored well – 39 out of 40 – Len Goodman being the holdout to giving them perfect scores each time, of course.
Willow Shields (actress) and her partner Mark Ballas
Good but clearly not her forte. Len Goodman said her Salsa needed a little more snap. Carrie Ann Inaba said she showed an interesting maturity. Julianne Hough told her to straighten her legs. Bruno Tonioli said she is high spirited.

Rumer Willis (actress) and her partner Valentin Chmerkovskiy
She deserves to win. Inaba said it lacked a hair of elegance. Goodman said it’s the ballroom not the bedroom. Hough said she was underwhelmed with her Jazz. Tonioli said he loved it calling it raucherlicious.
