On February 7, 2019, THE BIG BANG THEORY became only the fifth production ever to have a soundstage renamed for it on the Warner Brothers lot. This is to memorialize the fact that the CBS hit, now on Thursday nights, has shot on the former Stage 25 for twelve years and almost 300 episodes. PBS brings back THE GREAT AMERICAN READ on Tuesday, September 11. Hosted by Meredith Viera, THE GREAT AMERICAN READ premiered back in May. The series aims to discover “America’s best-loved novel” by means of viewer opinion. To date, two million people have voted, narrowing the list down to one hundred titles. Jess Phoenix is running as a Democrat for Congress in California’s CA-25 district, which covers parts of northern Los Angeles County and Ventura County. Phoenix has three other Democratic opponents, Bryan Caforio, Katie Hill and Mary Gallant. All want to unseat Republican incumbent Steve Knight. There are several differences between Phoenix and the other candidates. For one, Phoenix is an actual climate scientist.
