Actor David Krumholtz is still known to many people as Charlie Eppes, the FBI-advising mathematical genius he played for six years on CBS’ NUMB3RS. The New York-born actor then took a turn playing one of the managers in NBC’s short-lived THE PLAYBOY CLUB last year. TCA 2011: NBC Chairman is confident THE PLAYBOY CLUB won’t be boycotted by any other affiliates

With NBC’s Utah affiliate KSL refusing to air NBC’s new period drama THE PLAYBOY CLUB, NBC Entertainment Chairman Robert Greenblatt said today at NBC’s Summer TCA session that he doesn’t anticipate any other affiliate stations dropping out before the show debuts in the fall. “I think every other affiliate will be airing the show and are on board,” says Greenblatt. “I guess I wasn’t completely surprised. Breaking News: NBC announces Fall 2011 Schedule

NBC was the first out of the gate to announce their Fall 2011 and Midseason 2012 schedule in New York today. With the most to gain, NBC has put together a pretty aggressive schedule of newcomers benefitted from expected returning warhorses. While there isn’t anything earth-shattering, it is nice to see NBC going with the CW playbook by booking two genre series back-to-back on Friday night with returning CHUCK and the new series GRIMM.
