FLASHPOINT is a series that is not only filmed in Toronto, it’s actually set in Toronto. The show concerns a Canadian SWAT team, which provides Canadians with a homegrown action drama and Americans with a window into how our northern neighbors handle violent crime and hostage situations. When History Channel greenlit the ambitious THE KENNEDYS mini-series, controversy was expected, but nothing like the kind that stirred up when that cable network decided to drop the project entirely earlier this year. After being shopped to various networks, Reelz Channel ultimately acquired the eight-episode mini-series. It was a big shock earlier this week when The History Channel announced they were canceling the already filmed and completed eight-part mini-series THE KENNEDYS following the lives of that important First Family.
