Stars: Delroy Lindo, Billy Lush, Matt Lauria, Jennifer Beals, Jason Clarke, Devin Kelley and Todd Williams Writer: Virgil Williams Director: Paris Barclay Network: Fox, airs Monday nights Original Telecast: May 16, 2011 As much as the networks are loath (or maybe that’s terrified) to embrace serialized TV series (preferring the more repeatable standalone procedurals), there’s something to be said for shows with ongoing arcs. I’ve got a lot of snark that I need to unload on you people, so let’s just get right to it, shall we? • Oprah has confirmed that Will Smith and Jada Pickett Smith will be guests on her final show on May 25. I assume the final show also includes a time machine that takes everyone back to 1997 when this would have been awesome. • Bristol Palin stepped out last week with a whole new face. However, she is claiming she didn’t have plastic surgery. She had “corrective jaw surgery.” And just in time for her new reality show. […]Read On »

The police procedural elements, usually so dead-on perfect and engaging prove to be unspectacular, while all the ongoing personal drama keeps this episode from going completely to the dogs. The story begins with a hate crime […]Read On »
